PRIVACY POLICY
Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: October 17, 2026
Keito Murakami (“Developer”) sets out this Privacy Policy for the iPhone application Pattern Line (“App”).
1. Accounts and on-device data
The App does not require account registration or login. Game progress, settings, display language, and other save data are generally stored on the user’s device. The App has no feature that sends this game data to a server independently operated by the Developer.
On-device data may be lost if the device fails or is reset, or if the App is deleted. Automatic transfer to a new device is not guaranteed.
2. Advertising
The App uses Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) to provide banner ads at the bottom of the screen, interstitial ads in situations such as returning home, and optional rewarded ads for hints.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may handle approximate location inferred from an IP address, device identifiers, advertising data, product interaction information such as app launches, taps, and video views, crash information, and diagnostic or performance information such as launch time, hang rate, and energy use. This information may be sent to Google or advertising providers for purposes including ad delivery, measurement, analytics, fraud prevention, and service improvement. Actual handling varies with the SDK version, device settings, region, consent choices, and ad-serving mode.
The Developer does not independently send users’ names, email addresses, or game progress data from the App to Google.
3. Advertising consent and choices
The App uses Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to show advertising disclosures, consent requests, or choices where required by law or Google policy. Depending on the user’s choice, applicable modes such as personalized, non-personalized, limited, or technical ad delivery may be used. Even non-personalized ads may use identifiers for purposes such as frequency capping and aggregated reporting.
4. In-app purchases
Remove Ads is a non-consumable in-app purchase processed through Apple StoreKit. After purchase, banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads are not displayed, and hints are available without watching a video ad.
Apple processes payment and billing information. The Developer does not receive credit card numbers. To provide the purchased feature and Restore Purchases, the App may verify purchase status through Apple’s systems.
5. Support communications
If a user contacts support by email, the Developer uses the email address, inquiry, and any voluntarily supplied device information or screenshots to respond and resolve the issue. The Developer endeavors not to retain this information longer than necessary for support, except where retention is required by law.
6. Children’s privacy
The App is a puzzle game intended for a general audience. Users below the age at which parental consent is required should consult a parent or guardian before use. The Developer does not provide a feature intended to collect a child’s name or contact details through the App. Data handling by advertising SDKs is subject to Google’s policies and applicable regional, age-related, and App advertising settings.
7. Security
The Developer takes reasonable measures appropriate to the information handled, such as keeping SDKs updated, using a minimal configuration, and limiting network services. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. External services
External services handle information under their own terms and policies. For details, see the Google Privacy Policy, Google Mobile Ads SDK App Store data disclosure, Google AdMob Privacy & messaging documentation, and Apple Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be revised in response to changes to the App, services, or applicable laws. Material changes will be announced through this page or an appropriate notice in the App. The revised policy applies when posted here.
